With more than 35,000 artworks house in 650,000 square feet of exhibition space, the Louvre Museum can seem like a bit of a maze to many visitors, but worry not! Our guided tour provides access to all of its secrets.

Wandering through the museum’s corridors, we'll discover all the vestiges of its troubled past: the walls of a medieval fortress and the lavish apartments of France’s last monarch—while seeking secret passages and the love tokens left by King Henry II to his mistress.

Of course, we can't abandon the museum’s most famous works, and we will dive deep into the stories behind the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo and the Winged Victory of Samothrace. Given that the Louvre has so much to see, a mysterious sphinx, a huge canvas immortalizing the troubled 19th century, and Michelangelo's breathtaking statues are also part of our tour.

•    Ending point: close to the Louvre Museum.
